PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Prerequisites - PADI OW or Equivalent

A great course to extend the knowledge and skills learned on your open water course. The PADI Advanced Open Water course qualifies you down to 30 meters, meaning that we can show you some of the amazing shipwrecks of the German High Seas Fleet.
This is a 3 day course which starts off shallow, with 2 days at the shore working on fundamental dive skills such as buoyancy control all whilst diving on the British Blockships sunk by the Royal Navy during the World Wars. For day 3 we head to the boat for 2 dives on the German fleet.

£650

PADI Drysuit Diver

Prerequisites - PADI OW or Equivalent

Although you do get some brave (or stupid) people that dive the wrecks of Scapa Flow in wetsuits (or occasionally even less!), the majority of people dive them in drysuits due to the water temperature, which ranges from around 6-14°C. The drysuit course introduces you to these suits and the different method of buoyancy control required so you can enjoy the wreck haven we have here in comfort.
There are 2 options for this course:
Option 1 is good for those with 20+ dives and recent diving experiences where we do the course in 1 day.
Option 2 is done over 2 days and is recommended to those without many dives or who have been out of the water for a while. Both options are carried out from the shore on the British Blockships at the Churchill barriers.

£225 1 Day Course / £395 2 Day Course

PADI Deep Diver

Prerequisites - PADI AOW or equivalent and Drysuit Certification

The PADI Deep Diver course builds on the skills developed on the Advanced course and qualifies divers down to 40 metres. This is done with further work on gas planning and decompression theory as well as buoyancy control.
This is a 2 day course with both days carried out from the boat diving on the German High Seas Fleet. The greater depth gained by the course allows us to see bits of the battleships  such as the 12" guns of the Kronprinz Wilhelm that aren't accessible with a 30 metre limit!

£495

PADI Enriched Air Diver

Prerequisites - PADI OW or equivalent

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is a purely theory based course which helps you to get more time underwater by extending your no decompression limits!
This course teaches you the hazards and benefits of diving with enriched air, as well as the techniques used to work out the best mix for each depth and how to analyse the gas that you get given.

This course is best done as a bolt on to other diving, when it can be done in an evening after diving or between dives during our surface interval.

£140

PADI Wreck Diver

Prerequisites - PADI AOW or equivalent and Drysuit Certification

Here in Scapa Flow, we have some of the best wreck diving in the world so what better place to do your wreck diver course?
This course helps you get more out of diving wrecks by showing you how to navigate them and spot potential hazards as well as points of interest. You will also be taught 'lining off', allowing you to safely penetrate a shipwreck.
This is a 2 day course, with one day on the blockships at the Churchill Barriers and one day on the High Seas Fleet off the boat.

£495

Guided Dives

Prerequisites - Diving qualification.

For those that are already qualified or wanting to do more diving after their course, we offer guided no decompression dives both shore diving at the Churchill Barriers and boat diving down to a depth of 40m (depending on certification level).
The Churchill Barriers have a maximum depth of 11 meters, making them a great wreck dive for all levels of diver. However, due to the deeper depths of the High Seas Fleet, we require a minimum of Advanced Open Water (or equivalent) and drysuit certification in order to dive on these wrecks.

£170 Guided Shore Dives
£225 Guided Boat Dives

Please note that  enrolling on a course does not guarantee certification. Should you require extra time in the water or classroom in order to demonstrate mastery we will make every possible accommodation for you to be successful in your course.
For everyone wishing to enrol in a PADI course please read the Medical Statement linked below and if you answer 'yes' to any question please consult your local GP to ensure you are fit to dive.
